New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels was asked about the Los Angeles Rams’ head coach vacancy on Tuesday.
McDaniels, who was a former offensive coordinator for the Rams under Steve Spagnuolo, had his name come up in the discussion of candidates to replace Jeff Fisher.
As expected, McDaniels wasn’t ready to talk about the job at this time, per Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk:
“I have a short week to get ready for a great opponent and I’m focused on the Broncos,” McDaniels said. “I know there are a lot of things going on out there but my focus and my attention is going to stay right here in the building on the team that we have to get ready for and how we can prepare our team to play the best they can on Sunday.
