Sure, many of the NFL’s prime-time games this season have been clunkers. But for the most part, this has been a season of living on the edge in the league. Lots of one-possession games and down-to-the-wire finishes.
Week 6 was no exception, with six of Sunday’s nine early games decided by no more than seven points. Take Baltimore and Detroit, for example. Both teams are 3-3, and all six of each of their games have decided by a touchdown or less.
The Lions were on the winning side of the line Sunday with Matt Prater’s late field goal beating Los Angeles 31-28.
