Former Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher has released his first statement since being fired by the team on Monday.
Fisher, who had five losing seasons with the Rams before being fired by the team after a brutal Week 14 loss, thanked his players and owner Stan Kroenke in a statement released on Tuesday:
“First and foremost, I want to thank Stan Kroenke for the opportunity to be part of this organization the last four and a half years,” Fisher’s statement said. “I want to thank the entire football staff as it has been a privilege to work with each one of them day in and day out.
