THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- The midway point of the season has come and gone, and Jeff Fisher's status as the Rams' head coach remains unresolved.
Publicly, at least.
Reports dating back to February stated that Fisher and the Los Angeles Rams were ironing out terms for a contract extension, but no announcement has been made on his future. And the circumstance is all the more tenuous now that the Rams have lost four straight, falling to 3-5 and destined for more mediocrity during their first season back in Los Angeles.
"I'm not uncomfortable at all," Fisher said when asked about his future Monday.
