Without a doubt, the biggest surprise cut by the Los Angeles Rams over the weekend to trim the roster down to 53 players was Akeem Ayers as many expected the linebacker to be a key contribution to the defense in 2016. However, it appears the Rams are considering all options and there’s a chance the team could end up bringing Ayers back at some point during the 2016 season.
Head coach Jeff Fisher made a comment over the weekend that hinted at the possibility of Ayers returning to the team and hoping this wasn’t the end.
