LOS ANGELES -- Todd Gurley has yet to have the breakout game everyone continues to anticipate, but perhaps he finally got his legs underneath him.
Looming in the background of a 30-19 loss to the Buffalo Bills was a silver lining that revolved around Gurley, the Los Angeles Rams' star running back who broke off a couple of long runs and finished with 108 yards from scrimmage. Seventy-two of those yards came on 23 carries, and 24 others came on a third-down catch to the outside that began with Gurley lining up as a receiver and finished with him evading a couple of tacklers.
