THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- "Good" was the word at the Los Angeles Rams' practice facility Thursday when Jared Goff spoke with reporters for the first time since undergoing surgery on his throwing-hand thumb on Dec. 28.
"It feels good," Goff said. "It's progressing well, it's in a good place."
It remains uncertain, however, whether Goff will start Saturday when the Rams (10-6) play the Seattle Seahawks (12-4) in a wild-card playoff game at Lumen Field.
Earlier in the week, Rams coach Sean McVay said he would not announce a starter before kickoff, and on Thursday, after the team's final practice of the week, he stuck to his word.
