Last week, we learned that the NFL has notified the players named in January’s Al-Jazeera America documentary attaching their names to performance-enhancing drug use that they will be interviewed on the first day of their respective training camps next month.
But at least one of those players isn’t down to play by the NFL’s rules. And we’re not really surprised which one it is putting up the fight.
Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison, who along with Green Bay Packers Clay Matthews III and Julius Peppers are the currently-active players mentioned in the AJA documentary (free agent Mike Neal and recently-retired Peyton Manning are the others), posted a statement on Instagram on Sunday listing his stipulations for meeting with league officials:
