An NFL draft unlike any in the past begins Thursday as the league, the networks and hundreds of draft prospects combine forces to pull off a three-day event during a global pandemic.
With the draft originally slated for Las Vegas, teams will instead draft remotely from homemade draft headquarters. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will introduce the picks from his home, while 58 selected players will participate in the draft. Only one of those players has local ties, Iowa defensive end A.J. Epenesa, the former star at Edwardsville High.
A handful of prospects from Mizzou are expected to start hearing their names called Friday in the second and third rounds.
