After sitting out organized team activities (OTAs) in the spring with what he described as an injury “that lingered from last season,” Rams strong safety T.J. McDonald was back where he belonged Friday as the team opened training camp at Rams Park.
“It just felt good to be back out there with the guys, good to be back on the field and working to get back in the groove,’’ the 24-year-old said. “You never want to miss practice because every rep is important, but the key is to be ready when it counts. I feel like we took the right steps during OTAs and I felt good out there today.
