LOS ANGELES — The Rams got off to a hot start both on offense and defense, and take a 27-3 lead into halftime.
FIRST PASS? PICK SIX
Cornerback Trumaine Johnson got the Rams’ defense off to a hot start with a touchdown on the Colts’ first possession.
After a short run, and a tackle for loss by lineman Tyrunn Walker, Indianapolis was left with 3rd-and-10. Covering wide receiver T.Y. Hiton one-on-one, Johnson undercut what looked like a deep out route on the defense’s right and picked off the pass. From that point, Johnson was all alone down the sideline and ran it in for Los Angeles’ first touchdown of 2017.
