Halftime Notes: Lions at Rams (Week 14)

ANOTHER DONALD SACK

Aaron Donald continued the torrid pace of his sophomore campaign early in the first quarter when he sacked quarterback Matthew Stafford. On 3rd-and-6, Donald lined head up over the center in the Rams’ ’30’ front. Though Detroit tried to give the center help with the left guard, Donald used his leverage to split the double team and bring down Stafford in the backfield.

With the takedown, Donald now has a team-leading 9.0 sacks. He’s No. 2 in the NFC in the category.
