NAPA, CALIF. • With Todd Gurley missing Sunday’s season finale against San Francisco with a foot injury, things have come full circle for Tre Mason.
Mason undoubtedly hopes things go better for him this time around. After leading the Rams in rushing as a rookie with 765 yards in 2014, Mason knew he would have to cede the starting job to No. 10 overall draft pick Gurley this season.
But with Gurley not expected to play early in the season as he completed rehab from college knee surgery at Georgia, Mason would have a few games to remind everyone what he could do.
