After surrendering this year’s first-round pick to the Tennessee Titans as part of the deal to land Jared Goff last year, the Los Angeles Rams won’t see a pick in the 2017 NFL Draft until the second round at No. 37. As frustrating as that may seem, the Rams hope the sacrifice will pay off in the long run when looking at the potential Goff brings to the table, although the only way that’s going to happen is if the team provides the former California star with better weapons to work with.
With the draft right around the corner, Los Angeles realizes how critical these next few weeks are going to be when it comes to figuring out which players are worth consideration early in the second round, especially at wide receiver.
