It appears Rams owner Stan Kroenke will have to stage a late rally to win NFL approval to move to Los Angeles.
When NFL owners meet Jan. 12 and 13, they likely will select which of the two LA-area stadium projects to support. They will also decide which two of the three franchises seeking to relocate there will get the green light.
Kroenke has three big problems today:
- He doesn't have a partner for his proposed Inglewood project, despite offering a 50-50 stadium revenue split to a potential partner. San Diego Chargers owner Dean Spanos seems dead set against partnering with him and Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis is leaning heavily toward Spanos.
