Monica’s mother was never afforded the opportunity to dance growing up, but it was one that she hoped her daughters could enjoy. And so, Monica started at the age of three and never really stopped. Ballet and tap were all within her repertoire and she performed on both her middle school and high school dance teams. However, once she entered nursing school at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, she took a year off. When her sophomore year rolled around, she decided return to dancing by auditioning for the St. Louis Rams Cheerleaders.
It was her time auditioning and she expected that she’d, at best, make lasting memories and hold onto an unforgettable experience.
