The Los Angeles Rams selected pass rusher Kevin Greene with the 113th overall pick in the 1985 NFL Draft out of Auburn. Greene spent the next eight years with the Rams and while he only made one Pro Bowl in that time, he posted 16.5 sacks in both 1988 and 1989, plus two more double-digit sacks during his tenure in Los Angeles.
It was reported on Monday that Greene has died. He was 58.
“The entire Pro Football Hall of Fame family mourns the passing of Kevin Greene,” Hall of Fame President and CEO David Baker said in a statement.
