It’s never easy to let a player go after such a long period of time, but that was exactly the case for the Los Angeles Rams last February after deciding to part ways with defensive end Chris Long. The former first-round pick ended up joining the New England Patriots after spending the first eight years of his career as a member of the Rams, and after Sunday’s historic Super Bowl 51 finish, everything turned out for the best on Long’s end.
Not only did Long finally win his first Super Bowl after the Patriots pulled off the thrilling 34-28 win over the Atlanta Falcons in overtime, but his team did so in dramatic fashion.
