It’s no secret the Los Angeles Rams entered the 2017 NFL Draft in desperate need of help at wide receiver, and despite making the bold decision to trade down early in the second one so the Buffalo Bills could select Zay Jones, the move should payoff with Cooper Kupp. The former Eastern Washington wideout was selected with the 69th overall pick in the third round by the Rams, and even though numerous players were drafted ahead of him at the position, keep in mind that it was Kupp who received high praise from one of the all-time greats in Steve Smith back at the combine
The former NFL star recently called it a career after 16 seasons in the big league after spending his final three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens following 13 years playing for the Carolina Panthers.
