With yesterday’s loss to Chicago, St. Louis fell to 4-5 on the season. The game was disappointing on multiple fronts, as the Rams could not get anything going offensively or defensively. While there were a few standout performances, let’s start with what went wrong for the club in this edition of five takeaways.
1) Poor defensive outing
Heading into Sunday, the Rams had allowed just 13.8 points per game at home in 2015. And when the offense got the day started with an 80-yard touchdown drive, it looked like the defense would have an opportunity to play from ahead throughout the contest.
