Los Angeles Rams coach Jeff Fisher has signed a contract extension, a team source confirmed to ESPN.
The new contract extends Fisher's contract by two seasons and was agreed to prior to the season, the source said.
"Been done for a while," the source said.
The NFL Network first reported Fisher's extension.
Fisher, who has led the Rams to a 4-7 record this season and is 31-43-1 with the franchise, helped the transition as the team moved from St. Louis to Los Angeles in 2016.
He is 173-163-1 in his career. Fisher is three defeats away from passing Dan Reeves for most career losses by an NFL coach.
