Rams coach Jeff Fisher says former NFL and University of Cincinnati running back Isaiah Pead's playing career is over as a result of the injuries he sustained in a car crash in Columbus, Ohio.
Pead was critically injured in a single-car accident Saturday when he drove off the side of Interstate 670 in Columbus. Sheriff's officers told NBC4 Pead lost control of his vehicle at approximately 2:32 a.m. Saturday morning and drove off the side of Interstate 670.
He was ejected from the vehicle while a passenger, Wesley Richardson, 27, was in stable condition, according to the crash report.
