The battle for SoFi Stadium took place on Saturday night, pitting the Los Angeles Rams against the Los Angeles Chargers. Though not many starters for either teams could be found, the Chargers took the win and some bragging rights for at least a year with a 13-6 victory.
The Chargers opened up with a 21 play drive that scorched nearly 10 minutes off the clock but only led to three points after the Rams’ defense held Chase Daniels and co. at the end zone. After a less than inspiring couple of series from Rams QB Devlin Hodges, Bryce Perkins came into relieve him halfway through the second quarter and threw a strike to rookie WR Trishton Jackson for six.
