Federal class action lawsuit filed against Rams over personal seat licenses

ST. LOUIS • A second lawsuit has been filed on behalf of holders of Rams personal seat licenses this week — this time in federal court.

The suit, filed in U.S. District Court in St. Louis Tuesday, says that seat licenses were supposed to allow owners to buy season tickets through the 2024 season. But the Rams' relocation to California rendered the licenses worthless.

It seeks reimbursement of the remaining value of the licenses as well as damages for Ronald McAllister of St. Louis County. McAllister spent $1,000 each for two license, one in 1995 and one in 2005, the suit says, and has purchased tickets to all 172 regular season and playoff games.
