THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- Former Rams wide receivers Isaac Bruce and Tory Holt were among 26 semifinalists for the 2017 Pro Football Hall of Fame class, joining ex-quarterback Kurt Warner, a finalist each of the last two years.
Bruce, Holt and Warner, who teamed up to form The Greatest Show on Turf and won Super Bowl XXXIV, emerged from an original field of 94 nominees.
In early January, their group will will be trimmed to 15. The selection committee will then meet for a final vote on the eve of Super Bowl LI, with a finalist from the veterans' committee (safety Kenny Easley) and two others from the contributors' committee (Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and former NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue) joining the final 15.
