NEW ORLEANS -- Greg Robinson, the former No. 2 overall pick, has been benched by the Los Angeles Rams.
Robinson was a healthy scratch for the Week 12 matchup against the New Orleans Saints at Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday, a decision that will probably prompt veteran left guard Rodger Saffold to switch over to left tackle.
Robinson has been plagued by inconsistent play and head-scratching penalties ever since the Rams took him high in the draft out of Auburn in 2014.
