ESPN Sport Science: Aaron Donald's Ridiculous Strength

Right before the 2014 NFL Draft, defensive tackle Aaron Donald visited the ESPN Sport Science lab to test his speed, strength and reaction time. The Sport Science staff was blown away by Donald's record-setting numbers.

First, Sport Science put Donald through their "Bull Rush Test." In the drill, Donald exploded through his stance, battled four 300 pound heavy bags and finished by demolishing a sensored dummy.

Donald was measured at getting off the line in just 23-hundredths of a second, which was the fastest of any defensive tackle in the 2014 Draft class. He also put a hurting on the tackling dummy, prompting ESPN Sport Science's John Brenkus to say, "That's the farthest the helmet has ever traveled [in this drill].
