Mike Clay of ESPN recently released his 2024 projections, which includes individual stats, team stats, win probabilities, unit rankings, and more. There are several interesting nuggets we can take away for the Los Angeles Rams.
One of the first things I noticed on Clay’s projections was that Puka Nacua’s estimated production was notably better than Cooper Kupp’s in nearly every category:
Nacua: 136 targets, 89 catches, 1,242 yards, 6 TD’s
Kupp: 118 targets, 78 catches, 1,000 yards, 7 TD’s
Both players were projected to play in 15 games, and it’s common for the purposes of these projections to assume games lost for injury.
