THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson felt for Todd Gurley.
The San Francisco 49ers loaded up the box close to the line of scrimmage throughout their Monday night game against the Los Angeles Rams, daring quarterback Case Keenum to throw and barely letting Gurley breathe.
"It's tough," Dickerson said, "because every team that saw that game on Monday night is going to say what we’ve been saying all along: 'They can’t throw the football, so we’re going to put eight, nine in the box, and we’re going to make them run the football with Todd Gurley and beat us with that.
