THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- Embattled cornerback Troy Hill cleared waivers and re-joined the Los Angeles Rams as a member of their practice squad on Wednesday, four days after being arrested on suspicion of a DUI.
The Rams deactivated Hill from the upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins shortly after the incident on Saturday, then waived him on Tuesday. Speaking after practice that day, though, Rams coach Jeff Fisher said he was "not going to rule out a second opportunity."
"I think people deserve second chances in life," Fisher said then. "I think he learned from it, but I was just disappointed in his choices.
