With the departure of Janoris Jenkins to the New York Giants, the Los Angeles Rams have a starting job open for the No. 2 cornerback alongside Trumaine Johnson. If all goes well, E.J. Gaines could benefit the most from the situation and the cornerback will look to make his case beginning Saturday night against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Gaines will make his preseason debut for the Rams against the Chiefs and it will be the first time over a year the cornerback will play in a game after sitting out the entire 2015 season.
