Farr shifted from playing for the team to talking about it — and other sports — in a prominent local sports-talk radio career at WXOS (101.1 FM). But he is giving up his spot at the station, on its key afternoon drive-time “Fast Lane” program, he said Thursday.
He cited family reasons in California as the reason for the decision while addressing the matter on the air on what was to be his finale. He was there, from where he has been participating on the show for the better part of two months.
