Despite months of trade rumors, a report indicated last week the Los Angeles Rams planned to keep cornerback Trumaine Johnson on board for the 2017 season. For the second year in a row, the Rams made the tough to decision to use the franchise tag on Johnson to avoid their beloved cornerback hitting free agency, making him the highest player at his position in 2017 at $16 million.
