During OTAs, training camp, and the first preseason game, some of the biggest standouts for the Los Angeles Rams has been Tyler Davis, Joshua Karty, Jordan Whittington, and Beaux Limmer. The thing that all of those players have in common? All four of them were drafted in the sixth round of the NFL Draft.
Throughout the Les Snead era as the general manager of the Los Angeles Rams, the team has had success in the draft, specifically in the sixth-round. That has especially been the case since Sean McVay took over.
Notable sixth round picks from Snead since 2017 have been:
- DL Sebastian Joseph-Day
- S Jordan Fuller
- S Quentin Lake
- CB Derion Kendrick
While that may not seem like a lot considering the Rams made 12 picks in the sixth round between 2017 and 2023, a nearly 33 percent hit rate for that late in the draft is impressive.
