The LA Rams signed 34-year-old receiver DeSean Jackson this month, giving him a deal between $4.2 million and $6.25 million in 2021. Whether or not some of that money is guaranteed or not shouldn’t really matter as it pertains to 2021, because the Rams still must account for the contract that they just paid to Jackson. They won’t be able to just give $5 million to another player or two with the expectation that they’ll eventually release Jackson, so for all intents and purposes, this is LA’s number three or four receiver right now.
Jackson met with the media on Friday to discuss how things are going with his latest physical rehabilitation and returning back to his Southern California roots.
