Jason Peters was informed he will be active and could even start the first game of his 18th NFL season when the Dallas Cowboys face the New York Giants on "Monday Night Football."
The news was good for linebacker Micah Parsons (illness), who is planning to play despite missing practice this week, but wide receiver Michael Gallup (knee) will not suit up, NFL Network reported.
It would be career game No. 229 for Peters, but where Dallas might plug him in was unclear.
Parsons was home this week because he felt ill starting Wednesday but repeatedly tested negative for COVID-19, owner Jerry Jones said on Friday.
