Throughout his tenure as the Rams head coach, McVay has been forced to adjust whether it was because of Vic Fangio and Bill Belichick and the 6-1 defense with two-high shells or implementing a new run scheme. The question is never whether or not the Rams offense will introduce new ideas, but what those ideas will be.
In 2017, McVay took the league by storm with the wide zone and play action off of that.
