Despite placing the franchise tag on Trumaine Johnson for the second year in a row, cornerback was still an interesting position to keep an eye on for the Los Angeles Rams heading into the preseason. Early on, Mike Jordan was a name that stood out for the Rams on defense when seeing how effective he was, but unfortunately it looks like the team has different plans for the 2017 NFL season.
On Saturday, Jordan posted a message on Twitter to share the news of his release, as the cornerback thanked the organization for the opportunity.
