Sunday did not go well for the Los Angeles Rams, who suffered a somewhat surprising 28-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
But it was still a record-setting performance for one of their players, for better and for worse. Wide receiver Cooper Kupp was one of the few offensive bright spots for Los Angeles on a day when they struggled to put up points. Kupp had 11 receptions for 110 yards, but it was the frequency with which quarterback Jared Goff targeted him that was noteworthy.
Kupp was targeted 21 times, which is a Rams record since the stat started being recorded in 1992.
