Cook finds his groove with Packers

In the storied history of Green Bay Packers football, Jared Cook’s catch won’t rate up there with Bart Starr’s game-winning quarterback sneak in the Ice Bowl of 1967 against Dallas. Or even Desmond Howard’s victory-clinching 99-yard kickoff return against New England in Super Bowl XXXI.

But Packers fans will revel for years to come in Cook’s 35-yard reception in last Sunday’s divisional playoff game vs. the Cowboys. It will become part of Packers lore.

“Aaron (Rodgers) called the play, you know, I just worked with him,” Cook said. “It was underneath coverage up under me. And I knew if I got over top of (the coverage) that Aaron would put the ball in the right place.
