The Los Angeles Rams announced Rodger Saffold as the Rams Community Player of the Week for week 9 in recognition of his community outreach efforts throughout the season.
Rodger Saffold is a seventh-year Ram from Bedford, Ohio. Having started at right tackle, left tackle, left guard and right guard, Saffold’s versatility extends beyond the field. Since joining the Rams in 2010, Saffold has participated in almost every major team initiative. In addition to his involvement, Saffold adopts families during the Month of December to make their Holiday season a little brighter. Most recently Saffold hosted a child in foster care at practice Tuesday and helped create a memorable experience.
