ST. LOUIS • Another city government body is poised for another essential vote on the proposed riverfront stadium.
St. Louis’ Board of Estimate & Apportionment will consider at 2 p.m. today the city’s portion of the facility financing package.
It is the second-to-last vote required for full city approval. The Board of Aldermen is scheduled to vote on final passage of the required legislation— the aldermen’s fifth and last step — on Friday.
The plan is expected to pass the three-member Estimate & Apportionment board today.
Mayor Francis Slay is a champion of the stadium-building effort.
