According to the San Diego Tribune, the San Diego Chargers could join the Los Angeles Rams in Inglewood by the end of the week. The Chargers have the option to join the Rams in their new stadium in Inglewood until 2019 when the stadium is projected to open. And while the franchise hasn’t announced its plans yet, it sounds like a deal is close to happening.
While the franchise says it’s still weighing its options, Kevin Acee, who covers the Chargers with the Tribune reports that “the Chargers and Rams are close to finalizing a deal to share a stadium in Inglewood,” and that the team has “acquired land in Orange County, California for their new headquarters and practice facility.
