It’s a Super Bowl like no other to cap an NFL season like no other.
There will be a team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, playing at home for the first time. The foe, the Kansas City Chiefs, are not scheduled to arrive until the day before the game. Thus the traditional week of on-site hype — some say mercifully — has been quelled. And attendance is being limited to about 25,000.
The NFL has maneuvered through the coronavirus pandemic-affected season with numerous bumps, but no game cancellations, and is set to wrap things up Sunday with America’s biggest annual sporting event.
