Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury told The Arizona Republic that Kugler was sent back home to Arizona prior to Monday's game.
"It's challenging anytime you make a staff change in that type of manner and I'm just going to leave it at that," Kingsbury told The Arizona Republic.
According to reports, authorities were notified of the incident involving a female on Sunday night and Kugler was flown back to Arizona on Monday morning. Kugler also was the team's running game coordinator.
He was hired by Kingsbury as part of his original staff in 2019. Kingsbury said assistant offensive line coach Brian Natkin and tight ends coach Steve Heiden will share Kugler's duties.
