Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson was voted NFC West offensive player of the year by the four reporters covering the division for ESPN.com.
Alden Gonzalez, Los Angeles Rams reporter: Johnson rushed for 1,239 yards and added another 879 receiving yards. All told, he led the NFL with 2,118 yards from scrimmage and 20 touchdowns. If the Cardinals were a playoff team, Johnson would probably be getting a lot of mention as a potential MVP candidate. As it stands, the former third-round pick out of Northern Iowa emerged as one of the game's most versatile and dangerous weapons in his second season.
