Had Bowles not lapsed into a brief bit of psychosis, he would have assigned proper coverage instead of calling a risky blitz that invited the NFL's best receiver this season to burn man-to-man coverage on the reception that set up the Rams’ game-winning field goal to advance to the NFC championship game.
