Those of us who are unabashedly rooting against the Los Angeles Rams this season were thrilled to see our town's former football team return to earth in spectacular fashion this weekend.
A 30-19 home loss to the Buffalo Bills included some real Rams gems that ranged from turnovers (three) to a bizarre fake punt coach Jeff Fisher dialed up with 3:47 left in the fourth quarter on a fourth-and-5 from the Rams' own 23-yard line.
It failed, of course, and the Bills punched in a game-deciding touchdown on an injury-ridden Rams defense that has given this team a chance to win every week despite the worst offense in the league.
