BOURBONNAIS, ILL. • After 21 seasons with the Rams, St. Louis has gone back to its post-Bill Bidwill Cardinals status as the largest market in the nation without an NFL team.
For those fans in the Gateway City looking for a team to root for, Scott Hagel and the Chicago Bears are throwing out the welcome mat.
"We obviously know there's a ton of NFL fans there in St. Louis and we wanted to make sure that we were able to maybe fill the void that's there at least for the preseason," said Hagel, the Bears' senior vice president of marketing and communications.
