Less than two weeks ago, the Battlehawks (3-1) suffered their lone loss of the XFL season, falling 34-28 in the nation’s capital to the North Division-leading D.C. Defenders (4-0). The two teams meet again at 6 p.m. on Saturday at The Dome at America’s Center.

It’s the second home game of the season for St. Louis, which set an attendance record for spring football last weekend when 38,310 showed up to see the local club’s 24-11 win over the visiting Arlington Renegades.

Another big crowd is expected Saturday. And Battlehawks coach Anthony Becht hopes they can again be a factor for his squad.
